Dolphin Emulator Reaches Milestone Now Able To Boot Entire GameCube Library

0

The folks working on the popular GameCube emulator Dolphin, have announced that they are now able to successfully boot every game title in the official GameCube library. The team was previously able to get all games running with the exception of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – this they said was due to the complex way the game used memory on the PowerPC Memory Management Unit.

While the team considers this a monumental moment they still have ways to go even though all games are at least bootable. Now bug fixes and stabilization need to be addressed. Still, this great news considering the amount of work they have put in to this emulator.
