HTC Unveils First 64 bit Android Smartphone

HTC recently unveiled the Desire 510 that has the distinction of being the first 64 bit smartphone to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410, a 64 bit processor. The device has 8gb of internal storage, 1.4ghz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB of Ram and will run Android 4.4 Kit Kat with the sense UI.

The phone will have a 4.7 in screen and a 2100 mah battery and have LTE on board (Market Dependent) and will have micro SD  expansion slot. It’s important to note, that both the version of Android and the amount of Ram on this device will not allow it to fully utilize the 64 bit processing that will come with Android L. The desire 510 will come to the U.S, Asia, and Europe later this year with pricing being announced at a later date.
