Microsoft Brings Office To Android, Sort Of


Following on the expansion of it Office suite for iOS, Microsoft is looking for people to Beta test it’s touch optimized Document editor for Android. The official release is expected to happen in early 2015. Microsoft has announced that it is creating a private Beta for those looking to try it out. This come at a time where Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella has made a strong push for the company to be “Cloud and Mobile centric.”

The Beta itself is accessible on Microsoft’s Sharepoint site. Users will be allowed to select their device and then be granted access to the software. A time frame for the test and when it will start is not yet known as it is still being prepped, but sources say it should be within the next few months.
