Fans of Microsoft’s Windows Phone’s will soon have their hands on two new phones. Slides allegedly showing off the next three devices from Microsoft have made their way online.
These devices will be the first to run Windows 10 Mobile and have access to the new Continuum features that will allow the devices to switch to a “desktop like” mode for increased productivity – which was also shown alongside a dock attachment.
So in terms of device specifications the Lumia 950 is said to have a 5.2 inch QHD screen, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 20 Megapixel Camera with a duel tone flash, a 5 Megapixel front facing camera, 32GB of storage that is expandable, 3GB of RAM and a 3000 Mah battery along with a rapid charging feature via USB type-c.
The 950XL is rumored to have very similar features with the exception of a 5.7 in screen (rumored to be OLED) a slightly larger 3300 Mah battery and built-in Qi wireless charging.
Both devices are said to come with the new Windows 10 feature known as Windows Hello. A way of unlocking the device using a retinal scanner and that will come with Microsoft’s Glance.
The 550, which is the lower end of the Lumia line is rumored to have a 5 in 720p screen, a 1GHZ Qulcomm 210 processor, a 5 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel on the front, 8GB of storage that is expandable and 1GB of ram and a 1905 mah charger with rapid charging capabilities.
So there you have it, this is most likely going to be Microsoft’s first Windows 10 devices. What do you think of them?
