Fans of Motorolla’s low-cost smartphone, The Moto E, will be happy to hear that the Lenovo owned company, has just launched an even better version of their budget device.

The new Moto E has upgrades across the board. This includes a 4.5 inch display at 540×960, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage ROM, and a new 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus. Some of the more important features come in the form of LTE, a first for the low-cost Moto E, and a new quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.

The software on the new Moto E, is also very standout. It runs Lollipop 5.0 right out of the box. It even carries over some of the best features of the Moto G and X, namely Ambient Display, and the Camera twist for taking photos.

Finally, where the Moto E shines has always been its relatively inexpensive price tag. The new Moto E carries on the proud pricing tradition and even surpasses it at $149 dollars. Yes the new model is slightly more expensive than last years 2014 model, but with the upgrades a mere $20 dollar price increase is more than worth the price. There is even a 3g version of this same phone for $119 dollars.
