At this years IFA trade show Samsung, unveiled a whole slew of new tech both phones and wearables that is sure to set the standard for Android phones for the next year.
In terms of Phablets, Samsung unveiled two new Galaxy Note devices. The first is the predictably named Galaxy Note 4, with enhanced specs; a Snapdragon 805 at 2.7 GHZ, and an Exynos variant with a smaller clock speed, 3GB of Ram,running Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat. The phone also has a 3220 Mah battery with a 16MP OIS camera that is destined to take incredible pictures, all wrapped in a beautiful metal trim with a powerful new S-Pen. The second and arguably more intriguing device is the Galaxy Note Edge. The Edge runs the exact same specifications, but with a special curved side display for additional notifications and features. Both devices are expected to be released this fall.
Samsung unveiled the Gear S, a cellular model of its famous Galaxy Gear family of smart watches, allowing for you to make calls on the device thanks to its integrated 3G sim card. The second device announced was the rumored Galaxy VR headset. The device is powered by Oculus VR and is only compatible with the Note 4 (for now), and allows the user to immerse them self in a variety of games and entertainment experiences.
