Tizen, Samsung’s own in-house operating system will finally have it’s very own smartphone. The device is noted for its fast web browser, and quick boot up and shut down times.
The new phone called the Z1, is a low-cost smartphone destined for India. The phone has a Duel-Core 1.2 GHZ Processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of Storage with Micro SD expansion, a 1500MAH Battery, and a 3 Megapixel camera. The screen is 4 inch WVGA (Less than HD).
In terms of cost and availability, the phone will be an India exclusive and will cost 5700 rupees or just over $93 dollars. This phone is poised to take on the low-cost market, where low-end devices are typically dominated by Android.
