Vaio, the struggling PC brand that Sony spun off in 2014, has slowly been making its way back into the PC market for the better part of 2015. There have also been rumors and rumblings surrounding the company and it’s potential of entry into the Smartphone market under the Windows Phone banner.
Those rumors can now be put to rest. Vaio is slated to release its first Windows 10 Mobile device, The “Phone Biz” (yup that is the name). While the name makes it sound like a joke, the specs of this device make it actually seem like a worthwhile purchase….if you live in Japan.
The all metal device sports a 5.5 inch 1080p panel, 13MP camera, a Snapdragon 617, making it compatible with Windows Continuum. The device also has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that is expandable via micro SD card.
While the device will be a Japanese only release, you may want to get your hands on one as it could be aesthetically, one of the most beautiful Windows 10 Mobile devices around. The device is slated to launch in April.
