As the Pokémon GO craze continues to rise, it seems as though just about everyone is looking to tap into the potential monetary gains of the wildly popular game. Recently a company called Gamer Reality launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a “gaming controller” for the game – a foam ball that looks like a Poké Ball.
The company says the ball pairs with the Pokémon GO app and will allow you to throw or gesture your way towards catching a Pokémon – it also has the ability to charge your phone.
While this all sounds interesting, I cant help but think about what the makers of the game Niantic would think about something like this – something tells me they may frown upon the idea. As of now the company has no licensing agreement with Niantic and without that this little ball wont be bouncing anywhere.
