Chill-trap artist P A T H is extremely appealing when it comes to mixing ambient sounds with dynamic beats – it’s very hard not to want to put some headphones on and forget about anything else. His debut EP Depths is a soundtrack of obscure sounds and beats that mesh well together – I found it both relaxing and buoyant. P A T H states “Electronic music means everything to me,” particularly its capability to warp the mind and evoke a sense of wonder, and to seemingly create a unique world apart from reality.” – I think it does just that.
